The belated apology
Even though it is late by 8 years,
I still want to apologize to an ex-friend.
It's better to be late than never.
All I want is to seek forgiveness from him, myself and God.
P.S. Thanks God, for giving me strength to do that.
I can finally feel you.

Happy Chinese New Year!
New Year is one of my favourite festival when I was young.
I get to buy new clothes 'officially', a good excuse for me to buy tons of clothes home without having to hide them.
I get to eat lots of nice fattening food.
I get to catch up with my extended family and have long chats through the night.
And best of all, I get to receive red packets!
This roughly sums up why I absolutely love spending Chinese New Year.
Sad to say, I will not get to celebrate my favourite festival this year.
I tried not to show my disappointment but I'm really sad about it.
I guess bogging about it here helps alleviate my feelings of disappointment.
On the other note,
I'm glad that after buying tons of Valentine papers,
I'm able to make at least one card!
Here is my work after 2 hours of thinking and creating.
Have I ever mention that scrapping is really tough work?
Every time Mr. Yappy sees me stressing out over scrapbooking, he will look at me in the most amuse way and ask how a hobby can stress me out so much!
It's really therapeutic to scrap but being the perfectionist / idealist / a obsessive compulsive disorder patient I am, I never like doing half-hearted stuff, especially when scrap materials are so costly!
So here is the end of my short rant.
I hope that all of you out there who are celebrating Chinese New Year will enjoy your holidays! :)

New year resolutions
Hello world!
Just dropping by to share two layouts I've done recently!
My new year resolutions for the 2009:
1) Save for rainy days
2) Find happiness in the little things in life
3) Love what I have
4) Make necessary lifestyle changes, such as turning in and bathing early. (LOL I'm the most nocturnal person I've ever met in my life!)
5) Learn to be more forgiving, to the people I love and myself. (Someone noted that I treat strangers better than even my loved ones. Well, all I can say is that I'm merely being more polite with strangers..)
So, what's your resolution?
I still remember my resolution last year. It is to learn how to say NO when I need to and to be punctual at least 90% of the time!
I managed to improve tremendously for the former but not so much for the latter.
Never mind, there's still next year and the year after! Hee

For the coming Valentine's Day, I did a layout for my aunt and her husband!
I seriously love Making Memories to bits, especially the love notes collection!
I wanted a simple layout and it turned out to be more than what I expected!
I love that I can use only a cardstock and matting paper to create this look.
These photos are so not doing justice to the real art! :(
I really need to work on my photography skills..
I hope everyone has been doing well this year and Happy New Year to all!!
