Photobucket

Here are the MCQ, no negative marking. lol
1) Cherish the love we have
2) Cherish this moment
3) Cherish this love

I apologize for the short time lapse in between the sneak peeks as I've to post the layouts up the Websters pages gallery in a little while. It's 1st of February, girls!! :)

In the meantime, you can still post your guesses for Sneaky peeky 2 and I'll draw both winners before I post the layouts up the gallery!

I'm so so excited and honored!! How can Websters pages' GDT not be?

May God's peace be with you and your family no matter where you are!
Praise the lord for every good thing you have in life because without him, you have nothing and you are nothing.
For this, I'm thankful every single day, to be alive and well, to be at peace and contented. I wish you are too.. :)

Sneaky peeky 1

I've been keeping this excitement for so long that it's killing me!!
Thanks Joanna for being the first to make a correct guess!!
I'm going to be the February Guest Designer for Websters pages!!!

When I first received the email from Terri, I thought I was dreaming.
I fell in love with Websters pages from the very first moment, heck I don't even have the 'love at first sight' drama with my boyfriend. LOL
I actually hated him way back but let's leave it for another day.

For my love of doing little giveaways,
I'm thinking of having a little fun game to celebrate this wonderful news!

The game goes like this...
I'll give a sneak peek of the layouts I'll be posting for my GDT work and all you have to do is to guess the correct title out of the 3 choices given by me.
Fastest fingers first!
The first to get the correct answer will receive one of my favourite Websters papers, one vellum card, one journalling card, a coordinating cardstock and some pretty roses.
International friends are more than welcomed to play along! :)

Here is the first peek:

Photobucket
Guess the title of this layout:
1) life is beautiful
2) life . beautiful
3) love my beautiful life

I'll post the winner and the 2nd peek tomorrow!!
Have a blessed day!! :)

PS: Dear Joanna, please email your address to me at wuling_18@hotmail.com to receive a little something from me. :)

Dirty Scraps Challenge #2

Hi sweet ladies,

thanks so much for leaving sweet notes of love, keep them coming!
I really appreciate them greatly!!

Yesterday was the reveal of Dirty Scraps challenge #2 and this is my very first layout for DIrty Scraps!
Photobucket

It's titled 'Broken'.
The only journaling on this layout is placed across the title, 'as BROKEN as you want it to be'.

This serves as a reminder to me about how affected we are by others depends on how much you want others to affect you.

I've been through countless broken relationships, many of which are on the road of no return.
Sure I mourned about them day and night, even after years..
It's alright to be broken, really!
But it's not alright to remain broken because things will only become better when you reach the bottom of the pit, won't it?
So, if you're feeling broken right now, over the loss of a loved one, a painful break-up or a sudden desertion by close friends, let your hair loose and scream or cry.
Then, leave those baggages behind and move on to bigger, better things!

Here are some close-ups:

Check out the tutorial for this layout at Dirty Scraps now!
Just a side note,
I mess my hair up very often. Lol
I mess it when I'm embarrassed,
when I'm frustrated,
when I'm broken,
when I'm feeling zany,
when I want to attract attention from the boyfriend.

Have a blessed day! :)

Digging deep

I feel really ashamed, really..

When I started scrapbooking, I was hooked not only to the beautiful supplies that caught my eyes, but the meaning behind scrapping that caught my heart.
I wanted to scrap about how I feel about a picture, an idea or something to get off my chest.
Most part of my life has been lived in negativity and I wanted that to reflect in my layouts!

Never once did I have the courage to stick negative titles because every scrapper out there churned out layouts with a positive view.
Another reason NOT to do negative layouts or post negative posts is that you don't wanna be caught putting down people you love or loved.
So halfway through, I lost focus and was looking for the good things to scrap.

The closest I could get to share my really deep inner thoughts was this
Photobucket

I was afraid to share this..
Photobucket
So how did I become ashamed all of a sudden?

Visit this and you'll know why.

Pinky has balls of courage that are unrivalled.
She doesn't scrap only the good, she scraps the bad too!
I feel ashamed because I've no courage to scrap the bad past, the bad emotions but because of her inspiring challenges, I am going to go all out to scrap WHATEVER I want!

She is living up to what I think she and this challenge blog are all about!
Amazing isn't she?
Please take some time to read the brave and powerful journaling of Pinky and the other talented ladies here.
You can continue to leave your guesses for the previous post, and I feel so loved by all your wonderful comments!! :)

in the midst of busy creating..

for my guest designer spot for my favourite brand..
Yes I am going to be the February Guest Designer for the most gorgeous paper line!!
I'm super excited about it and I'm not sure if I can announce it here first..

I guess the best I can do to ease the suspension is for you to make a guess what papers I'm going to guest design for (by commenting on this post) and I'll send some goodies (including a set of stamps) to the first one who makes the correct guess!

In the meantime,
let me share more projects done in the past few months..

That's me when I was 2!
Looking like a meanie monster!
Photobucket

I've fun embossing the cute sassafrass border stamps, finally the Zing powders are working their asses off for me!

Journaling takes the center stage here, lots to write about myself being a monstrous sister! I'm wondering if I should share it here and risk scaring you. lol
For now, I am only giving away hints of 'bully', 'cry', dictator', drama mama', you roughly get the idea what a sister I used to be! Hee

And and, before I forget!
This is the album I made with lots of love for the boyfriend!! (for his birthday if you remember in one of the previous posts)

Why do I love thee? Photobucket

Let me count the ways..

And before I go, I wanna shout out to all the lovely ladies who have commented, my lovely friends from Dirty Scraps, Tomoko and Emeline, thanks so much for your encouraging comments!!
They mean the world to me, and that's what keeps me blogging too.
Have a great week ahead!

Dirty Scraps DT!!!

I'm so proud to announce that I'm part of the Dirty Scraps DT!

~Our Dirty Goals~

We are here to inspire you to throw your fear to the side.
Make paper work for you!

You don't have to always scrap those perfect moments,
it is OK to scrap the blurred photos of life.
Those fantastic moments, those horrible moments, the funny moments, scrap it the way you want it done!

It's your book, it's your life, do it your way.
SCRAP IT DIRTY, get your hands dirty, play with paper.

Life is full of knock you down moments, and lift you high moments, why not remember them all?
It's all about scrapping from your point of view.
We are here to support, recognize, and encourage
the true strength it takes to speak out and be
the person you want to be!

This is so exciting!
I've never joined a challenge blog, let alone be part of the DT team!
Do join this challenge blog to see what storm you're capable of scrapping up!

I want to thank God for the opportunity to be challenged constantly, to grow as a scrapper, to enjoy the process of putting my feelings into art expression. I've never been more blessed!

Last but not least,
I wish to send out the warmest gratitude to those for coming by my humble little blog!
I hope we can inspire each other along this scrapping journey! :)

look what I've found...

I found this along with so many projects that I have forgotten to post.
Procrastination can be a really scary thing huh!

This is for Kate, who has the sweetest words for everyone!
I'm really sad she has left for work abroad and I wish her all the best!

As far as I remember, Kate loves Tim Holtz!!
And I'm not very good with his products though I own many of his stamps and metal embellishments!
But for Kate,
I took the girly out of me and worked with all the Tim Holtz stamps I have!

These pages die-cut out of Hambly papers are inserted in between the blank pages.
Come to think of it, Tim Holtz works really well with Hambly!
I enjoyed making it! :)
I did something out of my comfort zone and I experienced so much fun!
Do you want to be challenged and see what you are capable of?
If yes, head here!!
There's gonna be an exciting announcement!!

Playing catch-up here

To my horror, I realised that I've not posted projects which I've done as early as 3 months ago up here!
I've been such a horrible procrastinator!!!
Diligent at hoarding new scrap supplies and churning out projects but lazy at posting them up. Hee

Let's start with the recent projects I did for the Websters pages crop!
Mostly Christmas-related but well, surly some of you have beautiful Christmas photos to scrap so the projects might come in handy, no?

Here is the album I've churned out overnight during the crop.
Looking back at the 12 days of crop, I'm pretty amazed at what I can come up with and how I can be so productive every single day of the crop!

The cover of the album

I love Jaz's idea of using the mini cd cover that comes along with the calendar pagesfrom Webster.
Photobucket That's me!
Photobucket
This is the very first album which is all about me!

What's on the inside?

My favourite part of the album is this mini book made out of the journaling calender pages!

Another project done using Websters pages..
A snowflake hanging ornament!!
What a wonderful idea!! I gave it to my neighbour along with some cookies as an Xmas gift!
Believe me that I teared a little that fateful morning..

How can anyone resist Webster pages?!
Their sneak peeks are going to be revealed next week, so in the meantime, I'll be waiting impatiently for it!!! Keep your eyes peeled on them!

Before I go, remember to check this new challenge blog out!!
I can't wait to see what fun challenges we get to play and the call for DT is until 15th January! Do send your applications in! :)

Now off I go to upload the rest of my projects!
Have a safe weekend!
