On a scrapping roll (3)
Hi there, are you still with me?!
I'm here to share another layout before I go off to make a Get Well Card for Daddy.
He's not feeling well the past few days.
Had a terrible cough and now running a fever.
I'm so worried and yet I can do nothing.. Sigh
This is another layout done a week ago.
It's quite similar to the one I did for Anne-Marie's challenge.
You can tell how much I heart the MM flower patch papers! Hee
The nitty-gritty...
Thanks for dropping by!

On a scrapping roll (1)
Yes, that's what I've been doing after the so-stressful-it-almost-killed-me exams!
I immediately got down to scrapping pictures of picnic outing and it's perfect for Anne-Marie's mid month challenge!
This is what I submitted for the challenge:
If there's one thing I remember about this layout, that will be the amount of time I spent on it!
I broke my personal best on this layout by taking 5.5 hours to finish it!!
I'm such a slow scrapper, I've to admit!
The yummy details:
No fanciful dinners or expensive concerts.
Just the two of us spending time together with simple picnic food and the beautiful music at the garden.
I will not trade this for anything else in the world. :)
I'm hoping to post something each day, either a layout, a card or just the nitty-gritty details in my life till June 17.
That's my one year blog-anniversary!
And I'm most probably giving a RAK (I still do not know what it means! lol) of nice scrap supplies to celebrate that I can manage to post notes about my life for a year!
A BIG deal for a procrastinator like me!!!
Also wanna thank IRENE for being soooo supportive of my scrap works and always leaving sweet notes here!
Thanks for the love dear!
Alright, I better stop rumbling on and on like a train!
Goodnight! :)

This boy is beyond hope
When I looked at you and saw how you ruined your own life along with ours, I couldn't bring myself to forgive you.
"Lord, forgive my debts as I've forgiven my debtors"
I say this everyday and yet I find it so difficult to execute upon you.
It's not the first time you got the family into trouble with your debts, I've no idea how to forgive you.
I really have no idea.

Picnic at Botanical Garden!
Do you remember about my Vday dinner at Botanical Garden?
I love the place so much that the boyfriend and I decided to have a picnic there at the Music Festival last Sunday!
If you've never been there, you're seriously missing out on the most beautiful things in life!
The scenery is awesome but my digital camera is such a letdown when it comes to taking pretty scenery pictures. (Hints to Yap: I'm patiently waiting for a DSLR!!)
The SSO held a free performance for picnic-goers and we enjoyed the music tremendously. We were humming 1812 Overture by Tchaiskovy on our way home. It's just simply addictive!
By the way, the salad brought by Yap didn't taste as good as it looked. Eww.. Fortunately the big hungry bear ate it all out. I really enjoyed myself a lot! Thanks dear, for lugging my big heavy basket not full of food (lol) around and preparing the food. Well, I did contribute the chicken pies and heart cheesecakes! :)
Sorry for the haphazard arrangement of photos.
I just can't seem to arrange them in the way I want to tell my story.
This is frustrating.
I wonder if anyone has tips on arranging photos for blogspot users!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
The boyfriend came down with high fever and I'm really worried.
May God bless him and all of you reading this! :)

More layouts to share!
This layout is a gift to Ebell, a cousin whom I love dearly.
She's a strong girl despite facing family setbacks at such a young age.
Just want her to know that I'll always be there for her through the thick and thin.
We even organised a birthday party for her!
Gonna upload the photos when time permits!
This is done in Celine Narvarro's class.
Seriously, I've never attended any class more interesting than this!
It's worth every single cent albeit it being the most expensive class I've ever attended.
Big thanks to MWL for bringing in Celine.
I learnt a great deal about painting and now I'm painting almost on every layout.
Who will ever think about using masking tape to add texture and using wet tissue to splash paint on layouts?
What can I say?
She's absolutely brilliant!
And this, is for Mummy dearest for Mother's Day!
Took this picture during last year's children's day party.
She's always the cook at the parties I hold.
Not only did she prepare the delicious food, she was the delivery woman too!
Thanks Mummy. :)
I'm now losing my scrapping mojo.
Off to blog surf for more inspirations!

Layouts to share!
If you think scrapping takes a backseat during my exam period, you definitely do not know me well enough!
I've been scrapping in the sly, even during the exam week!
Naughty me!
I'm just lagging in taking pictures of my layouts to post them up.
These are the 3-week-old layouts to share.
I've been wanting to scrap a multi-photo layout with the pictures I took with the kids when I brought them to play at the Jurong swimming complex last year.
It's really great fun to bring them out after the mid-year exams and this year I'm bringing them to botanical gardens.
I can't wait! :)
details:
This is given to Mr Patient boyfriend, who waited a few weeks for me to take pictures of it before he could finally display it in his room!
Details:
Super in love with the cuttlebug embossing dies. Hee
Gonna upload the rest of the layouts I've done soon.
I'm leaving a sneak peek of the layout I did for my mum for Mother's day.
Goodnight world, I'm going to enjoy a long one week's break before I start teaching again, I'm grinning from ear to ear as I'm typing this. =)

It has been all good
I've finally get my last exam done!
Phew!!!
It's full of emotions as I finished my final paper on last Thursday.
Not only because I've completed my four not-exactly-memorable years in NUS but the number of years I spent studying in my life so far.
It has been a long 16 years of educational journey, 18 if you count pre-school!
I feel so OLD and KNOWLEDGEABLE. lol
It has been all good.
The skills I learn in school are nothing compared to the life lessons I learn from meeting people from all walks of life.
Really thankful that I get to be educated and I'll never pass up the chance to learn more!
It really has been all good!
Thank God for all I have.
Though I was only given one true friend in the past 4 years, I feel really blessed.
He turned out to be the man whom I love dearly!
I guess these are a few of the rare pictures taken in school.
Rushing here and there between tutoring and school, between burning countless midnight oil for my assignments (always one day before the deadline, bad I know!) and marking homework for the kids, between having quick chats with my poor bf and struggling with guilt every time the boyfriend has to accompany me through tuition and even attending lectures of modules he is not in..
While people my age are partying hard at clubs on ladies nights and busy socializing in campus activities, I'm like a 'ninja' in school. lol
Always disappearing after lessons to teach at two places and getting the boyfriend to print my assignments in school so that he can hand in the hard copies.
I feel so bad every time he begged me NOT to do my assignments so last min as he might die from a heart attack running here and there to meet MY deadlines.
Gosh. I still have no idea how much shit I got him into.
To the neglected friends of mine, I'm so sorry for being the busy bee for the past years.
It's difficult to even fork out time to have dinner with my family at times.
So a BIG apology to any 'neglected' friends and the very much 'abused' boyfriend here!
I'll be free from now!!
Please date me! :)
